Hollow Knight
This one is one of the best titles you can find on Game Pass. The game is Metroidvania and is inspired by games such as Zelda and Mega Man series. Hollow Knight was originally a simple idea that its small developer produced with the help of a Kickstarter campaign. Hollow Knight is set in a plague-ridden land inhabited by bug-like creatures. Difficult action and creative platforming are the main features here. This game has been highly praised and has received many awards, and soon a sequel will be released for different platforms.
The Artful Escape
In The Artful Escape, you have a guitar and a path in front of you that you have to travel in a musical world. The gameplay is easy and boils down to walking through obstacles and sometimes playing the guitar to perform some actions. But what makes The Artful Escape stand out is what is included in its name. It’s the art aspect of the game which is very bright and makes you lively during levels. Every game moment is a unique visual and auditory experience that will remain in your mind for a long time. However, the gameplay may seem understated at times.
Deep Rock Galactic
It’s a first-person shooter that you can play with up to three players on Game Pass. The action takes place in a complex system of procedurally generated tunnels and caves. Therefore, the level structures are always fresh. Your enemies are usually insect-like but giant creatures. You have a series of missions like obtaining a specific item or destroying a target. In addition to the breathtaking action, one of the best features here is hero classes, which are enjoyable and exciting to play with.
Sable
We have chosen Sable mainly for its unique visual style. Of course, the technical graphics are not the best among independent 3D games, but the art style is stunning. Just exploring the open world and watching its landscapes is one of the enjoyable things you can do here, Although the surrounding world may seem a bit empty. Sadly despite the game’s emphasis on exploring, the movement of the main character and vehicles is a bit clunky.
The Forgotten City
Making this game was a long and strange project Because the game is based on a mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim! It’s a first-person adventure game where the plot shines. The story talks about relationships between humans and laws. You are in a time cycle and will encounter memorable dialogues and twists. However, this game is not perfect. Its technical issues can be criticized, especially in combat and animations. But none of these things reduce the value of this remarkable work on Game Pass.
